How to use Coach Caddie
Everything you need to get started — whether you're a coach managing your business or a golfer booking your first lesson.
Step by step
Getting started as a coach

Sign up and subscribe
- Download Coach Caddie and register as a Coach.
- Subscribe at £60/month — unlocks annotation, remote coaching replies, packages, vouchers and Stripe payouts.
- Cancel any time, keep access until the end of the billing period.

Set up your coach profile
- Profile tab → add your bio, location and photo.
- This is what golfers see when they find you.

Configure booking rules
- Profile → Booking Settings.
- Set minimum booking notice and reschedule notice.
- Set default prices per lesson type.
- Upload your Terms & Conditions PDF (shown to students before confirming).

Set your availability
- Profile tab → scroll to Manage Availability.
- Select a date and the times you're free.
- Choose how many weeks to repeat it on that day of the week.
- Tap Set Availability — golfers now see those slots on your calendar.

Connect Stripe for payouts
- Profile → Accounts & Earnings → Connect with Stripe.
- Link your bank — payouts arrive automatically after each booking.
- Coach Caddie's platform fee is 2%.

Create lesson packages
- Profile → My Packages → +.
- One-off packs: student pays once, lessons don't expire.
- Monthly packs: subscription that renews each month, lesson count resets to the full pack.
- Set title, lesson type, count, price.

Create a Remote Coaching package
- Same flow as packages — pick the Remote Coaching lesson type.
- Each credit lets a student send you one swing video for review.
- Works worldwide — no scheduling required.

Create events for groups & clinics
- Events tab → +.
- Set title, date, time, course, capacity, price.
- Multiple golfers can book the same event.

Annotate swing videos
- Open any video in Media → tap the pencil.
- Draw freehand, lines, circles, arrows, angles, highlighter, or text.
- Drop freeze-frame markers to pause for analysis.
- Toggle slow-motion playback and record voice tips that play back at the exact moment.
- Save the annotated video to your library.

Reply to a remote coaching submission
- Friends tab → Remote Coaching → open the session.
- Save the student's swing to your library and annotate it.
- Tap Attach Response — pick the annotated video from your library.
- Student gets it instantly with all your drawings and voice tips intact.

Track lesson history
- Every confirmed booking auto-creates a Lesson Card.
- Events → History → tap a student → tap a session.
- Shared Notes: both you and the student can edit.
- Private Notes: only you can see.
- Attach photos and videos to the card as a permanent record.

Issue voucher codes (discounts)
- Profile → Voucher Codes → Create New.
- Set the discount % and optionally lock to a single-use code.
- Attach codes to specific lessons, events, or packages so students enter them at checkout for the discount.

Issue gift vouchers
- Profile → Gift Vouchers → Issue New Gift Voucher.
- Free voucher: you comp it for a specific student (no charge).
- Custom paid voucher: generates a Stripe Checkout link to share with the buyer; recipient gets the unique code by email after payment.
- Optional email lock so only the intended recipient can redeem.
- Track delivery status (sent / failed / bounced) live on each voucher.

Manage your subscription
- Profile → Subscription → Cancel.
- Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current billing period — you keep full access until then.
- Resubscribe anytime to restart immediately.
